Two people who went to university together are to get married, it has emerged.

William Windsor (or possibly Saxe-Coburg-Gotha) and Kate Middleton, both 28, met at St Andrews University eight years ago.

Mr Windsor is a Flight Lieutenant in the RAF – and also a prince.

Wall-to-wall, dewy-eyed hysterical coverage can be found in every other media outlet.

I was in the pub at 8:00 in the morning of his Mom & Dad's wedding and we partied on until about 4:00am.

We didn't see anything of the wedding. Bring on the 30th aniversary reunion.

It may just be that William has really good PR handlers, but he comes across in the press as a pretty down-to-earth young man and not someone who feels entitled to all the attention generated by his affairs. So, as far as I'm concerned: Congratulations and best of luck to them.
