Anyone in the UK recently ordered anything from Apple online? Just wondering what courier or where they ship hardware from? My iMac's on the way and I have a tracking number but can't actually track it as I don't know what courier they use. The website just says 'to be updated' on the assigned carrier.

AFAIK Apple tries to use DHL for worldwide shipping. Could be wrong though.

My friend works for DHL here in the states and he handles Apple stuff every single day. I keep waiting for him to borrow me someone's iPhone, but he's an honest guy!

Not sure but see if you can paste that tracking number into Google, I've done it loads of times and it always pulls up a link for tracking.

Well all my deliveries in the UK have been with either UPS (large stuff) and Fedex (small light stuff).

I am waiting for mine and it is FED EX. with your tracking number when you view it does it say what the estimated delievery date is? If it does go by that cause that is when it is coming

Apple uses FedEx in - at least - the United States.

UPS for large items so far in the UK

They use TNT. Thats what my sutff always comes in weather it is repair stuff or new stuff.

Agree with the above - UPS will be the courier - try tracking on the UPS site.

Thanks guys! It says 8th of June on my account but I was hoping it would arrive beforehand. Guess I should try and stay calm and just learn to be patient.
