It was added as part of the 13.5 update, is turned off by default and can’t be enabled unless you also install a tracking app
Number of folk moaning about this without knowing what it’s actually for whilst I suspect using Facebook, WhatsApp, google searches etc.

Turn Auto-Update off - at least you'll have the opportunity to read what the planned update is going to do before you commit - and more importantly, research if there are any bugs or privacy concerns!

That’s not what irony means. It’s in the privacy area, like other features that could affect your privacy, so that you can disable it.
