I just checked my temperatures and fan speeds in iStat menus on my Quad-Core 2.8 Mac Pro, I was a bit surprised at the numbers and wonder if this is normal...

First of all, CPU A is not listed under Temps (CPU B through D is there). I really think it was there before, but I might be mistaken.

Under the fan panel the CPU A is listed as:
Power: 0.23 W; Voltages: 0.06 V; Current: 3.22 A

and for CPU B:
Power: 7.09 W; Voltages: 1.14 V; Current: 6.11 A

Is this normal? I can see that the CPU A is working just like the other cores, in both iStat's CPU panel as well as Activity Monitor.

(On a side note, CPUpalette.app suddenly showed up in my menu bar a few days ago — disabling iStat — and then went away again, and now I can't seem to activate/open that app again. Could that app some how cause this?)
