Ok, so I've made a thread not too long ago about mild gaming on the Air and that my system would freeze every 1-2 minutes. Now I'm seeing that if I play music in iTunes and turn on the visualization I'm getting the same thing. Please don't tell me that the air can't handle music with visualization. I've noticed that when these spikes occur, it seems that one core shuts down and the other spikes to 100% but only for a second.

Can anyone out there with an Air please test this for me? Play some music and run Visualization (preferably Jelly since it seems the most intensive) and see if this is happening for them.

I really love the Air and I don't want to be forced to sell it to get a MB because it can't handle these simple tasks.

Well now I'm completely dumbfounded. After unplugging my MBA and playing a game for about 15-20 minutes white having activity monitor running and my backlit KB on full I didn't experience one spike.... WTF?
