Hi,

After the clean install of Lion on my imac 27, I noticed that the fan kept going at full blast. It was so annoying, so I installed the iStat Pro and smcFanControl.

Now, the iStat Pro shows that the temp of CPU is between 100 and 126 degree Celsius.

It is way too hot, and I don't think the read is correct.
The top right portion of the imac is only warm, but the CPU fan runs at max 2100 rpm.

Is there a way to read true CPU temp on imac?

Thanks.
