Hi All,

Hope you're all having a good weekend so far :)

If possible, i could really do with your advice and guidance. For a long time now i've been searching for a matched pair of X5365 CPUs to upgrade my Mac Pro. I think i now have BUT the MPN number is a bit strange.

CPU Upgrade Question for Mac Pro 1.1

Whilst this thread is now six months old, does the suitability of X5365 3GHz processors, socket 771 change subject to brand of computer as see them for HP, Dell etc as well as the Mac Pro?
