Hi All,

From reading various threads and asking some questions there seems to be a lot of mixed responses as to what will boost the performance of a 2011 MBP: a higher end CPU or opting for SSD.

Im particularly interested to know if people prefer upgrading the i5 to i7 in the new 13" or if it would be more noticeable keeping the i5 and putting an SSD in it?

This is also aimed a little at you 15 inchers, would you rather spend your $$$ on the CPU upgrade (which i realise ups the GPU so may swing it more for you than those 13" owners) or opt for SSD?

Thanks

Depends on what the computer will be used for. A faster CPU won't help unless you do something CPU intensive.

This is the third or forth time the OP has asked this exact same question? And that's not counting the minor revisions of the question.
