I have an iPhone 7 and trying to figure out what is normal CPU usage and load averages. If I'm on safari, it will average about 1.7 between the 1, 5, and 15 minute mark. Is that good? Thanks in advance.

Honestly, this is something you really never ever need to look at or worry about on iOS. There aren’t good or bad figures for this nor is there any tangible way to improve these numbers as the OS is aggressively handling background tasks and CPU bound stuff. Use the device, it’ll work at its fastest and if it’s hiccuping, reboot it. That’s about it, Apple intends these things to be completely solid state functional devices that always work at their best and they’ve largely succeeded.

Erm...ok...actually, I was wondering the same thing as OP because my SE has suddenly started to drain the battery approx 5 times faster than normal. Load averages are important when troubleshooting issues. If I find the answer, I'll post back here.

Restore it or talk to Apple. There's nothing really useful that CPU load averages are going to tell you in terms of iOS.
