i have just installed windows on my macbook pro 13" i5 2.4GHz
and cpuz shows 2.7 GHz, how can it be?

yes but the specification only shows the cpu model, not the actual speed.
turbo boost actually overclocks the cpu?
 
I quote: "Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2435M CPU @ 2.40GHz"

Notice the bolded. That's the default clock speed of the CPU inside of your machine.

The Core Speed is the dynamic core clock speed in real time. This number will go up and down as the system uses TurboBoost and SpeedStep.
