Bemalte Blumen duften nicht.
So a few days ago I cracked the screen on my iPhone 3G. I set it up to get repaired for $102 and got the box today for it. Last night, however, it had running water go over it and this morning did not work correctly, for obvious reasons.

Long story short, I sent it in and started using a flip phone. Hated it. Six hours later I'm at the AT&T store buying a 3GS (won't affect my upgrade for the new one) and am now going to sale the iPhone 3G when it gets back.

I lasted 6 hours lol... oh boy, thanks a lot Steve. :D

I tried to translate this but to no avail. Come, again?

You're not alone on that one.

The longest I've made it without an iPhone since my original purchase in February of 2008 was four days. What's worse is that I was trying to use a Blackberry in its place for that time. *shudders*

Ya no, for like 20 bucks for they send the new one first :p

No problem, I used my trusty combined Ebonics, Jive talk and Internet slang translator.

:Translation on:

Gentleman, Apple's repair procedure makes it much easier than that. They will send you the new $199 replacement next day for about $20 shipping. You then send in your broken iPhone to them. You do not have to be without an iPhone. You don't have to buy a new one. I'm not sure how the OP thinks he was saving money.

:Translation off:

Wow, you are good :D
You are probably correct on deciphering the code.

He's trying to say for $20 more you could have done an advanced exchange where they ship you a replacement first. At least that's what I understood.

Grrrrr....just noticed someone beat me to it.

I've been using a PAYG phone since mid-May. The first week without an iPhone was the most challenging.
