There was a crack on my macbook I didn't think much of it then I noticed it spread I touched it and a piece came off. I also noticed the crack in the back of it has spread all the way across.

It is still under warranty. Will they replace it or fix it?

Is the broken piece near the edge, where your hands would normally rest? Does it look like this?

If so, Apple will fix it free of charge, regardless if you're in or out of warranty.

Yeah that's it. Ok then I guess I will take it to the store. Do they ship it to fix it or is it done in store?
