My mom cracked my iPad other day. I would have to pay for $219 for exchange a refurbished one. So now, I am searching for front glass and do replacement by myself.

If anyone has done that, do the replacement (aftermarket one) come with adhesive tape? If not, what kind of tape should I get?

P.S. I should have get the Apple Care Plus... but i guess it is too late now.

Don't do it! I bought the stupid kit to do it myself, and it's way too risky. Stuff was chipping, breaking, and cracking. Just have someone do it. That being said, there are far cheaper alternatives than the one you found.

Check out Gadget Menders. You can get the new screen, tools, etc from them and they have how to videos posted on their site as well. I did my own battery replacements with heir stuff and it worked out well for me. Very reasonable prices too.
