Cracked iPhone 5 Screen: What Are My Options?

As you can tell from the title, my friend dropped their iPhone 5 and the screen is smashed. What exactly are their options? Thank you so much!

Take it to an Apple store and have it fixed. I think refurb + damaged trade in on an iPhone 5 is 250 (not positive on that figure).

iPhone out of warranty replacement costs are always on the Apple site at:

Click "Warranty & Service Pricing" and then "My iPhone is not eligible for warranty service. What are my service options?".

I would take it to Apple and have them take care of it.

I would sell it on ebay for $320 ish after fees, look on craigslist for a replacement for $300-$400. A cracked iphone 5 has a market value of $350+ on ebay, the apple exchange is easily costing close to $600. I understand that not everyone is an ebay or craigslist guru like me.

These guys are currently fixing my HTC One X+ as we speak. You can mail it in to them, shame iPhone 5 repairs are so expensive.

Price varies depending on iPhone model. iPhone 5 = $229. You give them your broken phone, and they give you a non-broken phone.

Don't know if all stores are offering this service yet, but if you only want the screen replaced, you might call and ask about that.
