Hi guys.. new to the forum

I bought the Mac air book on July 2nd and received it a month later.

barely two months in, I noticed the screen was all jumbled up and I could only see 70% of the screen, took it in to the Genius Bar and have been billed $578 excluding tax for it to be fixed.

the genius I met explained that the laptop has a small crack and I could either use it with a monitor or fix it.

this laptop is not up to 3 months and I have no AppleCare.

I also paid for the purchase with a debit card
Pls any advice for me will be welcome as I’m so sad

Are you asking whether you should get it fixed or not, or maybe whether there are other options? It sounds like the damage isn't covered under the one-year warranty. It seems like a good idea to get it fixed. I suppose you could sell it as is as damaged but you probably won't recoup close to what you paid for it.
