I'm trying to install Windows XP SP2PRO on my iMac OS 10.5.8, 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo machine. The problem is that the built in screen in the iMac is cracked, and only about 1/3 is viewable, at the top. I use a flat panel TV as a monitor connected with a VGA cable.
I used Bootcamp successfully to partition the hard drive (32 GHz for Windows). When I insert the Windows XP disc, and reboot, the computer doesn't send a signal to the monitor. It's all on the computer screen which I can't see most of. I make it to the end user/license screen, but can't see where to click or enter information. I can use the page up/down buttons on my keyboard, but still cant find it. I'm stuck on that screen. I have looked for a screenshot of this screen online but can't find one. And then there are several more steps in the setup process that I'll need to get through. I'm wondering if there is a way to get the TV monitor to show what's on the computer screen. I've tried mirroring the displays but that does nothing, no signal is being sent.

Thanks for any help at all!
