iPad Cracked screen, options?

Hey,

So I dropped my ipad 3 and cracked the screen. Luckily it still has applecare warranty, but, I don't think that covers cracked screens? Does it? Should I take it to apple/ out in town/ or just live with it till the new ipad comes out?

AppleCare does cover cracked screens for iPad and iPhone, minus a deductible.
