I am a firefighter in IN and a couple of weeks ago i was on a training fire and it was bitterly cold. I put my phone in my inside fire coat pocket and was in and out of the fire and back into the cold. After hours of doing this i pulled my phone out to use it and the screen was cracked. I didnt hit the phone or have anything near it so i am thinking the influx of temp might have cracked it. What do i do?

yikes, sounds pretty bad :/

Looks like you're going to have to repair it with Apple or try to get one of those DIY kits online...

you might wanna go to the Apple store and tell them your story and see if they'll have sympathy and help you out? Not sure really.

Someone can post the specs, but Im pretty sure it shouldnt crack because of temperature. The only thing to my knowledge affected by temperature is the sense of touch on the screen. Try talking to someone AT an Apple Store because AppleCare is useless...
