So my wife dropped her iphone 3GS and the screen cracked. LCD is fine.

I need to replace the glass and wanted your advise. Yes i have used the search feature however most results were old and/or just stated nothing can be done shore of spending $100-200

In the last few months a lot of OEM screens have popped up on amazon and other sites. Prices range from $13-50.

Has anyone used these?
If so from what site?
Does the screen feel like the original screen?

thanks in advance.

If you feel comfortable doing it yourself you could save some money over the $200 Apple charges.
Also theres sites that would do it for around $80. You send it in and they ship it back to you a few days later.

I would like to do it myself.

My question is where to buy the screen. Like I said I've seen the glass listed anywhere from 15 to 50 bucks. Which one have people had good luck with which ones are junk.

I want the new screen to feel like the one that came with the phone.

Won't the apple store do this for cheap now days? I know my brother had his replaced under warranty in store due to a stress crack. Took less than 10 minutes.

OEM replacement screens are not sold on eBay! that is a total lie. and no the cheap ones do not work like a real one.

I dont mean the guy who posted is lying I mean the seller on eBay is lying!
