got my macbook pro 14 a month ago. Few days ago noticed crunching in the middle of the macbook pro by pressing and opening the lid. anyone had this problem or any options to get it away?

Time for a trip to the Apple Store. Hopefully you have Apple Care. If not I would think it not too pricey a fix.
Sounds bit like the plastic hinge cover is making that sound. Maybe its not moving smoothly and is flexing a bit, catching and releasing. Maybe a bit of grit in the hinge itself. Doesn't sound serious.
