My late 2013 max spec RMBP has started a crackling sound whenever I wake it from sleep. I have read that this may be attributed to the graphics card but am not sure. I switched off automatic graphic switching and the noise continued. I captured this in a couple of videos in case I couldn't reproduce it in the Apple Store. What are the odds of getting a replacement instead of a repair? This machine is in flawless condition and I have apple care. Also does anyone have any more knowledge as to what causes this noise?

Why would Apple replace the computer? If it has a hardware problem, they'll replace the part at fault.

They very likely won't. Just curious as to my odds if it is a major repair such as logic board.

Apple will replace the machine with a brand new one, but only if the replacement parts they give fail three times within their respective warranty period.
