Craigslist Safety Help with iPod

Hello Everyone...
Like some I collect iPods and and have started an iPod shuffle collection. I was looking online for some and someone offering an iPod Shuffle 1gen for free. I wanted your opinion as I have never dealt through craigslist or ebay. I am a little hessitant due to the fact that the listing is up two times?

Would you not get it? I mean is there a safety Concern?

Well unless someone is a collector, I don't see any reason why someone would want to hold onto one of those. Just being skeptical of craigslist, I'd say it could just be broken, though it mentions being 'brand new' (guess means 'not used').

Meet in a public place, take a friend, don't take any (or much) cash. What could happen? If you're worried about the listing being up twice or the fact that it's free, why not ask them about it?
 
You almost get bloo(d)bath when you combine the city names together... first clue.

If it's free, bring only like $10 and meet in a public place. I've been selling on CL for years; number one rule, don't be sketchy.

Apple Does Care

I just purchased a macbook pro, as I was given all the materials, such as applecare plan, there were 2 police men taking the DL of some man who bought an apple product off of Craigslist and it was confiscated to be returned to its owner. The guy was not in trouble for doing so, but was out his money. Now if you do buy a stolen item you will not know unless you bring it to an apple store and the serial number of the item is reported stolen. Good Luck!
