Hi,

I am in the market for a case (that is, sleeve + bag) for my 17" Macbook Pro. It is amazing how stupid the reviews are on the internet, I have yet to find one site that critically compares bags against each other; there are many sites that review bags, but no one states a preference. Moreover, no one gives a lengthy discussion on the padding of the bag. Some sites attach arbitrary numerical ratings, but don't provide any real discussion on where those numbers came from (and numerical ratings are always so subjective). What I would like is to find a site that compares bags from Booq, TomBihn, Waterfield Designs (aka SF Bags), Shinza, Axio, Crumpler -- that is, I want someone to put a laptop inside each one of these cases, catapult the thing 5 feet in the air, and scientifically measure the damage done to the laptop. Is that so much to ask? :-D
