Yeah, so this only happens when I re-login after logging out of my user account. I login, and I just get the SBOD right as things are starting to launch. I see the Dock... and the Finder appears to launch but the desktop never appears (my wallpaper does, but no icons). LaunchBar and FontExplorer X appear to launch but nothing responds to any clicks or key presses (like cmd-opt-esc). I have to hold the power button to shut down.

My login items:
FontExplorerXAutoload
GrowlHelperApp
Linotype FontExplorer X
SteerMouse Manager
LaunchBar
iMote
iScrobbler

I'm 99% certain it's not Growl, iMote, iScrobbler, or LaunchBar. FontExplorer is highly suspect since it deals with activating fonts. I doubt it would be SteerMouse Manager, but maybe. It's not any Dashboard Widgets since those don't load until I use Dashboard for the first time after login.

What I'd like to know is why this only happens after a logout. It doesn't happen any other time, whether or not I have auto-login enabled (right now I don't). The other question would be if it happens on another user account after logging out. EDIT: actually I created a new user account and it didn't work at all... no dock, no menubar, no anything.

Is there anyone else that's seen this behavior?
