Hi Forum,

For a while now i've had random crashes of my Mac (specs in signature). I think it's the graphics cards cause it happened twice in a rom while i was scrolling to a folder with 500+ images that where being previewed in their icons. I think it's my 330m cause the console gave me this:

02-05-12 11:00:00,000 kernel: NVDA(OpenGL): Channel exception! exception type = 0x6 = Fifo: Parse Error
02-05-12 11:00:00,000 kernel: IOVendorGLContext::ReportGPURestart
02-05-12 11:00:00,000 kernel: NVDA(OpenGL): Channel exception! exception type = 0x6 = Fifo: Parse Error
02-05-12 11:00:14,000 kernel: 00000069
02-05-12 11:00:19,000 kernel: 00000069

Does anyone know what to do about this? I've tried to turn off the previews but every once in a while it still crashes:(

Thanks!

I know this is an old thread, but in case anyone gets here by searching the error, I think I have a fix.

These errors are generated because your Nvdia graphics processor is overheating. I had them all the time in my 2006 iMac. I installed Fan Control and adjusted the fan speeds and desired temperatures until my Mac stopped getting the errors. I've had it on here for a month, and have had absolutely ZERO of these errors since I installed. I used to get several errors and freezes per day!
