I love Lion and all but I'm starting to get annoyed at how much all of my browsers and Photoshop are crashing. It was manageable at first but now it's just getting to the point where I know when to expect crashes..

I had no problems with this in Snow Leopard so I wanted to try to do a fresh install of Lion. Made my USB boot and booted from it.

Here's where things got messy..

I went to click on Lion Install where it made me verify with Apple and then pick the drive I wanted to install on. It recognized the SSD boot drive so I left that screen and went to Disk Utility to format my SSD.

Upon doing that, half way through it tells me it can't unmount the drive. If I mount the drive back and try to reinstall Lion it tells me that it can't verify my install and it tells me to contact Apple Care.

I'm thinking about using Snow Leopard install to format my drive and then boot from USB Lion but am afraid that I won't be able to get verification..

Any ideas as to what could be causing these problems?
