iPod touch Crashing problems

When I am going though the album art work it will stop and go back to the main screen. Then If I try and play a song it will stop playing and go back to the main screen. Apple thinks it may be a bad song. Anyone have this problem, I can't be the only one. I even went though all of my songs and converted them to the AAC format. I still have had this issue.
