Crashing software when placing in InDesign <- Aperture

Hi I was hoping anyone would be able to help me solve this issue because its REALLY bad...

When I try to place an image in Adobe InDesign CS4 I choose photos from the media bar on the left and then it try's to load my Aperture library and then just crashes and shows an error report...

just found out that if I try the same thing in another application it doesn't crash but it only reads 4 incomplete projects in Aperture, I have lots!

The last image that loads is a single flat locked layer 32 bit psd file
It doesn't recognise 32bit hdr files? and this crashes the system?

I'm running aperture 3 & InDesign CS4 on:
Unibody alu Macbook 2.4ghz
4gbram
500gb hd
bought it april 2009

Update: I've removed the 32 bit psd files from the aperture library and now InDesign doesn't crash but it only has about 15 files in the library
