"Crashing" the Party: Attending an Apple Retail Store Workshop without RSVP?

Apple Retail stores have a bevy of workshops for apple product owners to attend.

I've signed up for an event next weekend for the new iphone I recently purchased. It was the earliest I could get in.

Has anyone ever "crashed" an event that was already full, lol. An employee said they limit each workshop to 10 attendees. I'm wondering if I could sneak in if one or more of their rsvp's is a no-show.

You could turn up and see if there is a spot. Though you may waste your time.

Yeah, it's a half hour round trip; just long enough to make me not want to go without a reservation.
