Crawling wifi speeds after wake MBA 2017

Hi team,
2 weeks with the new 2017 MBA,
I have an issue with wifi speed after wake.

Every time the computer goes to sleep and wakes, wifi drops to crawling speeds. if i disconnect and reconnect wifi, speeds get back to normal.

Any idea what is causing this?

I would delete partition and reinstall OS. If it persists, go to Apple for help.
