I use Synology Surveillance Station Client to manage my security cameras around my home. The new 2.0 client works on all my macs except my main iMac i7. The app just does not open, but the menu for it is there. The login screen is missing. However if I run NORD VPN and actually connect to some server on the VPN the app will work! It's as if the Synology client is looking for some IP address. I have spent hours with Synology support on this and given the app works on my other macs, I am sure it has something to do with this iMac. Any ideas?
