Hey guys, need some help here.

My brother in law has a macbook mid'08/09 don't know for sure, and after the graphics update the dock doesn't appear, he can't open dmg's or anything that's a compressed file this is some things that the computer stoped doing.

any ideas, or someone else has/had the same problem?
