Yeah, I wish I were creative enough to come up with stuff like this. I would be too nervous to put a coffee maker that close to those electronics. Great work, though. Some of his other mods are pretty cool, as well.
 
I just don't see the purposefulness of that. I mean, it would make more sense if the coffee maker was on the side, and not on the screen. What happens if you want to watch a video, you'll just have a blank space in the middle of your screen?

He must have it connected to an external monitor. If you look on the picture showing the underside, he has USB, power, and monitor cables coming out of the back/underside of the case.
 
I thought this was going to be a thread about a vertically and mentally challenged administrator on this site. Spoilt for choice, I thought, at least in one respect. :)

Oh, the screen of the iMac G3 isn't even an actual screen, it's just a fake Leopard desktop.:p That makes more sense.
