Lately my mouse has been acting crazy. I move the mouse and all of a sudden my mouse pointer is in the bottom left hand corner shutting off my display (I have my bottom left hand corner sleep the display) or the mouse is on my dock. My iMac came with a Mighty Mouse and it was doing it so I tried a Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse and that one does it too. So then I bought an optical mouse pad and it still does it. Is my iMac possessed?
And when I try to install a .dmg I double click it and it installs but when I load Finder it lists the program under the Device category with a little white drive icon and also shows the white icon on my Desktop. If I restart my iMac they dissapear and none of the programs work anymore until I install them again. What am I doing wrong??? Thank you very much.
