Crazy Photo Booth issue

So my brand new Macbook Pro is heading back to Apple after 2 weeks of trouble shooting with tech support. My Photo Booth video recording works great in doors, but in sun light it crashes. Weird. Tech support has tried everything from simple things to full reinstall of Lion. Any one else have this issue? I was not ring to really worry about it, but for 1200 bucks, I think it should work.
