This video describes my issue, although my machine is MBP 16"

I had this exact same problem with my previous 2016 MBP 15"

Incredibly disappointed in Apple's quality... or in my bad luck getting defective machines.

Any of you have creaking MBP16" bottom cases?

I read that Apple won't repair this type of issue. They say it's within "operational tolerances".

I don't have a MBP, but it appears the soft aluminum is deflecting under pressure a single pressure point. That is what you're showing is normal for such a soft metal.

Its not defective and certainly not something that you need to worry about. Just use the laptop as you normally would

This old adage fits imo - "Doctor it hurts when I do this, <doctor> Then don't do that" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is 100% correct.
