Hi,
Ok so I am trying to work out a way to create ultra high resolution maps from google images. What I have normally done in the past is get a screen with as high a resolution as possible, (in my case 1080p). Then open google maps in safari, press cmd and - (minus) to zoom out fully this makes google maps load much more data.
I then get the desired zoom in google maps and then take loads and loads of screenshots whilst panning around then use photoshop to align the images and merge the layers.
So does anyone know a way to create a virtual screen in OS X which I would be able to screen shot at a really high resolution? i.e. would parallels or (the other one) be able to use nearly any screen resolution or is it really limited to my screen?
Thanks!
Luke
