Saw other threads about creating an .ipa file from the .app file inside Xcode.
Just a few questions I hope some people can answer. Does this method work only for jailbroken ipads/iphones? Meaning I can generate the ipa, but only jailbroken idevices with the patched (forgot the name) file can install it?
Is this just a simpler way to test and distribute an app to people with jailbroken devices, meaning Apple's method is just a slower way to officially develop and upload the app to the Appstore?
(So can I just make ipas and ignore all the certificate signing until my app is completed?)
