I like different EQ settings based on what output I'm using. For my AirPods Pro, I like the Rock setting for most of my music. But in the car, I prefer Jazz because otherwise the bass it too prominent and the mids aren't prominent enough. But I feel like I'm drilling for oil to get to the EQ settings each time. I tried asking Siri to change the EQ setting but no dice.

Is there any way using Shortcuts to set up an automation that will do this or even just a shortcut I can trigger with one tap or with Siri? It shouldn't be this hard to do something so simple. What would be perfect is to use the automation that when it connects to my car's bluetooth that the setting is changed but like I say, a one-tap solution would also suffice. I've poked around in Shortcuts with scripting and other options and I'm just not finding what I'm looking for.

Doesn't the Music app support EQ settings as they are pre-set in id3 tags on desktop?

I haven't messed with that, but my problem isn't so much that I want one album to have one EQ setting and another to have a different one. I want the global EQ setting to be "Rock" when I'm using my AirPods Pro and "Jazz" when I'm using my car stereo. It would be nice to be able to say to Siri "Change the EQ setting to ______" and it be done. Even better would be a Shortcut that changes it based on what is connected via Bluetooth.
