I'm trying to create an encrypted & compressed disk image from a folder.

Everything seems to work fine until I try to open the dmg after it completes. I am asked for the password, but after I've entered it, and after it has gone through the open routines, I get a mounted disk that opens to an empty / blank window: I do not see any contents.

When I look at the information about the mounted disk, I can see that the size is about right for the folder I'm encrypting, but there is NO access, not to administrators, or myself: just "everyone: no access". Having "no access" means I cannot even alter the access, even as an administrator!

When I look at the permissions of the dmg, that looks fine. And the permissions of the folder I am encrypting are fine: I can access and copy it without any problems.

Thanks for any help!
