Hey gang. I usually go to the musical community for this but I thought I'd give the more technically inclined community a shot on this.

I play guitar and have mostly been using iOS apps to achieve my sound lately.

In one app, Bias Amp, I get popping and clicking in my sound which is a symptom of not enough CPU power.

I realized that I hadn't yet tweaked my new 7+ for optimum CPU power and wanted to see what the community here can share with me.

Aside from turning off location services and disabling background app refresh on everything, is there anything else I can do to free up resources for my CPU intensive apps?

I'm not familiar with that app, sorry. Do you just strum on the touch screen or is your guitar connected to the iPhone and iPhone records it?

Also, what do you mean by tweaking for optimum CPU power? I thought the Apple engineers do that?

Try the jailbreak section.
Yeah…not really going to be something jailbreaking covers. Optimizing the CPU, overclocking, stuff like that really isn't a thing.

I wouldn't even know where to begin.
