Create iPhone reminders straight from SMS or email

Hi guys

I sync my iPhone with Outlook via Rackspace. Everything runs great but what would be really cool would be the ability to create a generic iPhone reminder/task directly from an email or SMS. That way it would then sync directly with Outlook so next time I'm in the office I'd pick the task straight up.

Is there a way of achieving this? I seem to remember having a similar app for my Blackberry yrs ago but can't fine anything for the iPhone.

As far as I know, if a date or time appears in a text or SMS, it will be highlighted in blue, just like a web link would be. Just tap on it and you are taken to the reminder screen....Can't think of any other way.
