Ok so I have 3 versions of iMovie... HD, 4, and 2. I want them all in my dock, but not 3 icons... So I placed them in a folder and then tried to put that folder into my dock... but I forgot that all folders go on the right side. I don't want that. Anyway to make it so I can put it in the middle? Thanks

that would be neat to know how to do. I've also wondered this...i figure there is a hack out there for it...but i hate messing with those.

See I've seen it done before. He had a folder in the middle of his dock called "Movie Making" with the iMovie icon, and when you clicked it, it came up with iMovie, iDVD, FCP, ect ect. Same for music-- iTunes icon, but contained iTunes, Garage band, and other sound editing apps.

I'm thinking isn't there a program called Candybar? Maybe this can do it, ill look into it right now.

Ok I just answered my own question. The program is called DockExtender. You can get away with one menu in the dock before registering.

It's on Version Tracker.
