I posted some questions about this along with other issues in another thread, but didn't get much response so I thought I would ask over here.
I want to set up a new MacBook Pro to have 2 'users' for my own use. I want to have one account for my work and one account for my personal use of the laptop, but I have a few questions as to how this would work practically speaking. I have not used different accounts for a very long time on OSX.
1. I was intending on creating two accounts (using different fingerprints for each) and I assume this will require me to make a separate Apple ID for the 2nd account. Can I link 2 Apple IDs to one email, for example, or do I need to create a 2nd Apple Identity with a different email etc.?
2. While running the OS in each user mode, what kind of things are 'shared' and what are not? For example, iTunes, Apps, etc. ... would I need multiple copies?
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!
