Creating a folder in Files on my iPad?

I want to Airdrop some videos to watch from my MBP to my iPad. Once on my iPad they appear in Photos and I want to move them to the Files app, however, I have the choice of either going to iCloud or on my iPad. I want to save them just to the iPad, though I can not figure out how to make a new folder on my iPad for these videos. Is there a way of doing this? I could not find a way to do this from within the Files app.
