Hello,

Must be missing something, but can't figure out what.
Will blame it on old age now.

Have a new iMac
Using Apple's MAIL for my eMails.
Comcast handles it.
All works fine.

But, it is set up as an imap, but I would rather have it as a
POP, so that when I delete any eMail's on my iPhone, the messages still stays on the iMac

I don't want to change the existing iMap setup, as it does work.
Would just like to make Another "Account" that has a POP configuration.

So, I go to Internet Account to make what I guess would be called a new Account.
The screens that I open up are:
Internet Accounts
Mail Account
Add A Mail Account

It then asks for:
Name
eMail
Password

The password I am using is correct, as I verified it again with Comcast.

Not sure though what it wants for "Name" ? Nothing works.
Is it asking for an existing User Name, or a brand new Name, or...?

Keeps coming back with: "This Account Already Exists"
Can't get passed this message to get to any other screens with the Server settings, etc.

Any idea what I am, as usual, doing wrong ?
Shouldn't I be able to create another Mail Account (under Comcast) that I can
then configure as a POP eMail Account ?

What am I missing, please ?
How should I go about doing this ?

As always,
Thanks,
Bob
