Hi,

Like many, I have forgotten my iPhone backup encryption password. In searching the forum, there are a few ways to find your password:
Look at key chain
Use an application to crack your password

In a situation where your iPhone is fine, can you reinstall a new version of iTunes which will hopefully "forget" that your iPhone backup was encrypted and resync it with your phone containing good information?

Wanted to get some opinions or experiences before I try it.

Thanks in advance

Never mind

iTunes is a required component for MacOS. As a result, it can not be deleted.
