One thing lacking in GB is a full Master Track. One feature of a Master Track I really want is labeling the segments of the song.

I know I can relabel loops but I like to preserve them so I know what loop they are.

So anyway,
1) I created a track
3) put a short loop on it (I used a shaker with a 1 beat length)
4) Repeated the loop to match the length of the corresponding segment
5) Renamed the loop to identify the segment (eg Verse 3 or Middle 8 or Chorus etc)
6) Copied, pasted and renamed loop to other segments.
7) Muted the loop

I've improved on this...

I've improved on this. I now use a Software Instrument track.
I record to it with a single note (else nothing gets made).
In the editor I then delete that note and rename and stretch relevant to segment of the song.
I've also created two dummy Software Instruments, "Master Info" and "Chord Map"
I also mute the info track(s) so to make them more identifiable.

Attached image shows an example of it all in use.
