So just getting the word out ... made an HTML editor cobbled together using Javascript and it's on the web (for Safari). http://www.mmaatthh.com/edit.html
Left click to pull up options menu and middle click to insert text at the point of clicking (a textarea box will appear ... just tab to it). Quite rough around the edges but wanted to know if anyone finds it worth pursuing.
