Creating Airport Connection?

I have a 24" Imac That I purchase in Sep 2008 and I want to turn on the airport so my older Dell Laptop can use the internet connection in my apartment. Am I asking too much or should it be able to do it?

It can do it with no problem.

In the Sharing preference pane, go to the Internet tab, then choose Built-in Ethernet in the 'from' dropdown and tick the box for your AirPort card in the to list. Hit 'start', and you have internet sharing!
